What Does God Require?

“And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you, but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in all His ways and to love Him, to serve the Lord with all your heart and with all your soul.”  Deut. 10:12

As I read that this morning, I realized that I have often taken this in a weird way.  I’ve always read it like Moses is saying, “Hey, guys, really…what does God require of you?  Just this…”  as if what is required is not much.  This morning it hit me:  God requires everything of us.  
Look at that verse again:  “to serve the Lord with all your heart and with all your soul.”  ALL your heart and ALL your soul.  Wow.  I can’t honestly say that I do that.  Can you?
