Psalm 139

I read Psalm 139 this morning, and I think the timing of said reading was not coincidental.  I needed a reminder of the faithfulness and constant-ness of God today, and I got it in that Psalm.

Words of wisdom from this ancient song:
God knows when I sit, stand, sleep, walk.  (v. 2-3)
He knows what I’m going to say before I even say it.  (v.4)
I can’t go anywhere that He’s not.  (v. 7)
He is guiding me, leading me at all times. (v. 10)
He created me (v. 13)
He thinks good thoughts about me!! So many, in fact, that they would outnumber the sand on the seashore.  Now, tell me that thought doesn’t rock your world.  (v. 17)
All in all, He’s God, and I’m not.  Thankfully.
Man, I’d be terrible at that job.
