I’m reading through the Gospel of Luke right now, and tonight, as I read Luke 8:1-18, I had to ask myself this question:
“Newt, how bright is your light?”
My lamp has been lit by the Light that came into the world, Jesus. He dispels all darkness within.
But is my lamp on a stand? Or under a bed?
Where is your lamp?
We’ve been given this treasure in jars of clay, friends. We are strangers and sojourners in a lost and dying world. Let’s quit hiding the light in “political correctness.” Are we really more concerned with offending someone’s feelings that whether or not they spend eternity in hell?
Let the light shine through us, and see the world change around us.
