This is something I reckon I should be used to by now. I wrote this week about how I used to write songs, but gave it up. You guys encouraged me to take it up again. Well, I started a new Bible reading plan this week, and I picked up in the middle of the plan on June 6th. Here’s one of the readings:
Oh come, let us sing to the Lord;
let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation!
Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving;
let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise!
let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation!
Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving;
let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise!
(Psalm 95:1-2)
And then:
Oh sing to the Lord a new song;
sing to the Lord, all the earth!
Sing to the Lord, bless his name;
tell of his salvation from day to day.
sing to the Lord, all the earth!
Sing to the Lord, bless his name;
tell of his salvation from day to day.
(Psalm 96:1-2)
It continued on today with Psalms 97 and 98.
Ok God. I get the message.
