Do you realize just how often I miss the things that are the most important? Ask anyone that knows me: I’m horrible at birthdays, anniversaries, special occasions, etc. Horrible. And to all of you that I’ve dissed in the past year in that regard, here’s to ya. Sorry.
But above all that, do you realize just how often I fail to recognize an answered prayer? I’m talking daily, hourly, minute-by-minute failure. And I almost did it today.
I asked God for help today, in a very specific situation, and I’m telling you, He nailed it. NAILED it.
Don’t forget the prayers He’s answered, small or large. It’s so easy to do. We get lulled into complacency. Don’t forget to say “thanks” today. As the Psalmist says in Psalm 103:
“Bless the Lord, O my soul! And forget not all His benefits!!!”
